Laser Surgery

LASER is an acronym for “Light Amplification by Stimulated Emission of Radiation.” Lasers are machines that produce a highly focused light beam with a well-defined wavelength. Within plastic surgery, lasers, have become quite useful to treat a variety of conditions. Currently there are many types of lasers each designed with a specific range of indications for use in treatment. Our physicians routinely use lasers for tattoo removal, spider vein treatment, skin resurfacing, birthmarks and treatment of warts.
